We've conducted private clinics all over the country and open clinics at equine events such as Equine Affaire and the Can-Am Equine Emporium. Our students have included members of the award-winning Canadian Cowgirls and Easy Riders Drill Teams, equine entertainer and clinician Tracy Porter, staff members of the Kentucky Horse Park and Walt Disney World's Tri-Circle D Ranch, and many other talented horse people from across the nation and Canada.
Here's are some quotes from students at one of Denny's recent mounted shooting clinics:
"Had just a wonderful clinic with Denny today. Around 20 riders. The day was just jam packed with good meaty information. From the simplest tips on tack and horse care to one on one horsemanship lessons and shooting instruction. I was made aware of several bad habits and mistakes and given a lot of good thing to work on. There are a lot of great shooters out there...I have watched and admired many of them . Denny is one of those few that can pass those skills and information on to others in a gracious and most interesting way. All the participants wished the day could have just kept going on. I will definitely be going out to his ranch for more instruction."
Denny - Again, thank you for your work with the Bay Area Bandits! The clinic was awesome, very informative - we learned a lot and look forward to practicing the techniques you taught us! The Florida Outlaws are blessed to have your right in their back yard for lessons! I would highly recommend that all new shooter get with Denny for instruction. He is a wonderful clinician!
Just a quick not to Denny Chapman: Thanks for the wonderful clinic you gave our shooting club down here in Tampa. I'm a new member with the Tampa Bay Bandits SASS organization, and meeting a shooter with your credentials is pretty special, but getting instructions from you and for our group was really appreciated. Thanks for your help, you gave us all something to work towards!
Great Bandits Clinic with Denny yesterday. We all learned so much. His kindness, patience and professionalism is really appreciated. Denny, you make it so easy to learn and to work with you. Your friendliness eases any nervous or intimidating thoughts. Thank you again for your kindness to the Bandits. We will be in touch with you for our private lessons.
Had a good time at the Bandits clinic with Denny. He does a great job for the sport and really takes his time and gives good critiques. Well worth the time for beginners. Thx Denny.
Just so impressed with how much info Denny shared with us at the clinic he did for the Bandits yesterday. Thanks Denny. For anyone that wants to improve to the next level, Denny can certainly help you get from where you're at to where you want to be. Awesome.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Denny Chapman for coming down to the Bandits arena. The clinic was excellent and Denny is a top notch clinician! We loved his teaching style (informative and positive) and really ejoyed learning from him! I took so many new skills and methods away from the clinic that I will be able to apply as I work on my horsemanship and shooting abilities.
We had a great day with Denny. He is an awesome horseman and clinician and always the friendly professional. Even though I didn't ride I still learned so much. The basics are so important and the right way to start. Even though the Bandits are great at teaching safety and starting slow there's still more stuff Denny taught us to have an even better foundation for ourselves and our horses. Hopefully we can review and practice what we learned with Denny during our Bandit practices. Those who couldn't make it really missed out. Several of us will be taking a private lesson with Denny probably within the next month. Something to consider if you want to progress in this fun sport.
Well....I just wanted to thanks Denny Chapman for coming out to the Bandits. Thanks to everyone who came out today. I know just the time in the classroom with Denny; I learned a heck of lot on course management.
That was just awesome. Denny gave us enough info and things to work on to last us for quite awhile. I want to pass this along to Bandits members who attended....Denny said to me after it was over that it was one of the best groups he has ever worked with and that what we are doing and the way we are doing it is right on track. Thank you again Denny for a fantastic day and Kathy and I look forward to coming up to your ranch for some lessons.
Special Thanks to Denny Chapman for the very informative clinic today. For those that missed this opportunity... you really missed out on some good information. We took lots of "notes" and have lots of "homework" to work on.
